Say ‘yes’ to adventure

A day in the mountains, taking on a walk that challenges you will give you clarity of thought, new inspirational ideas and the confidence and determination to make them happen

Don’t be trapped by routine

Routine is safe, but it can also be a trap. It’s time to break free of the cycles, routines and beliefs that are keeping your thinking small, frustrating you and holding you back

Release your potential

Set your mind free in the mountains, giving it time and space to create, invent, envision and connect, leaving you recharged, excited and ready to take on the world.

The Route

We will meet in nearby Elterwater, at the Elterwater Cafe at 0915, ready to walk, where we’ll get to know each other and go through what to expect on the day.

We’ll head over to the walk start at Old Dungeon Ghyll, and the walk begins by entering my favourite mountain valley in England. We head deep into the mountains, with the Langdale Pikes towering above us, before climbing up and out, to Angle Tarn, a mountain lake nestled amongst some of the giant peaks of the Lake District. From here, we will continue up to the cross-road at Esk Hause, and head over the boulder field towards Broad Crag. On a clear day, Scafell Pike will be in our sights, and we will begin our final ascent up a steep and rocky path, to the highest point in England.

Our route to Scafell Pike is purposely direct; fitting in with the theme of the Walkshop, but on our return, we will visit the Wainwright summit of Great End, before returning to Esk Hause, and then looping around to climb two other Wainwrigts - Esk Pike and Bowfell.

After Bowfell, it’s a long and steady descent back into the verdant Great Langdale valley.

Along the way, we’ll stop at various points to share our experiences with trying to get things done, work through exercises to increase our productivity, and learn techniques to sharpen our focus and develop consistent habits.

Post-event, for anyone who wants to stay longer, we will head to a local pub for a well deserved drink and food (not included)
